PILATES in Western Colorado

Currently offering private and group Pilates instruction in Grand Junction and Fruita, Colorado.

Pilates is a method of exercise developed over 100 years ago by German exercise pioneer Joseph Pilates that focuses on balanced, full bodied strength and mobility to increase breath capacity and circulation for longevity and health.

I have a background in classical Pilates, having completed the Boulder Pilates Center’s Advanced Teacher Training Program in 1998. I serve beginners, aspiring teachers, athletes and desk jockeys. Pilates is particularly supportive for our western Colorado lifestyle. Whether you are a skier, hiker, climber, golfer, or just love to be outdoors, Pilates can support your longevity with all your physical and mental endeavors.

Classical Pilates Teacher Pre-Certification Program (coming soon)

Working with a teacher trained in the full classical Pilates method can make all the difference in your practice. Through the use of the reformer and other apparatus, I’ll help you access each exercise more effectively, develop balanced strength, and progress to more advanced exercises safely. Classical training gives me the tools to spot inefficient movement patterns and guide you toward deeper, more intelligent movement. As Joe said, the goal is to return to life—and that’s exactly what this work can do.
