A Complete Wellness Picture
I have been doing wellness work long enough to know that the things that heal us rarely work alone.
Pilates taught me that. You come in with a tight hip or a cranky low back and yes, we address the body — but we also talk about sleep, stress, about what season it is and what you have been eating and whether you have been moving through your days or just surviving them. The body is never just the body.
This is why, over the past three decades, I have been weaving together a small collection of practices that I believe in deeply and that, together, tell a more complete story than any one of them can tell on its own. And it is why I created the Elemental Reset Package.
The word "elemental" is doing double duty. >insert nerd emoji <
In Ayurveda, everything in nature, including us, is made up of elements. Earth. Water. Fire. Air, Space. When those elements are in balance, we feel like ourselves. When they are not, we feel it everywhere: in our bodies, our moods, our digestion, our sleep, our sense of direction. Most of us are walking around in some degree of elemental imbalance and simply compensating. The package is also elemental in the sense that each modality within it is, to me, essential.
Classical Pilates is where I started and where I always return. It strengthens and refines but it is also a way of asking the body what it needs today, at this moment in your life, and meeting it there. Movement is medicine. It is also information.
Thai Yoga Bodywork is Pilates' perfect companion. Where Pilates asks you to move with intention from the inside, this type of bodywork’s dynamic stretching and pressure along energy lines is a dialogue between practitioner and body that wakes things up and invites them to let go. Pilates requires your intentional effort. Thai bodywork allows you to receive.
Ayurvedic consultation is a wholistic picture. We look at your constitution, your current imbalances, your routines and rhythms and the season you are in — not just the calendar season but the season of your life. Ayurveda does not tell you what is wrong with you. It helps you understand yourself more clearly and gives you tools that are yours to keep.
Tarot, similarly, is not about prediction. It is about excavation. The cards have a way of surfacing what you already know but have not yet let yourself say out loud. In the context of a reset, a tarot reading can distill everything into a theme, or thread, that runs through everything you’re learning and gives you something to carry forward. Here is what I have found: when you experience these four things in the same six-week window, they start to speak to each other.
Something that comes up in the Ayurveda session shows up in the body during Pilates. The massage releases something the tarot later names. A theme emerges that you did not set out to find.
The package runs six weeks — one Pilates session per week, one Thai massage, one tarot reading, and two Ayurveda consultations. It is designed to give you enough time and enough depth to actually feel something shift, without overwhelming you.Yours in living intentionally, imperfectly -
